Having just completed my undergraduate degree, I’m looking ahead to working in R&D engineering in the additive manufacturing space and eventually pursuing a graduate degree. Though my work experience has been focused in technical skills and engineering research, I believe great engineering comes with understanding ourselves and the human environment. Because of this, I focused much of my undergraduate study on understanding how cultural differences and intercultural interaction plays into engineering, teamwork, and design. Through these studies, I’ve traveled to Hong Kong and China to study intercultural teamwork and spent over 7 months in Querétaro, México studying at Tecnológico de Monterrey there.

Outside of academics, I am involved in community music, and am always seeking further adventures in the great outdoors. On the technical side, I have split my work experience between industry and academically focused research. My career goal is to pursue research and development on the industry side, and eventually make my way to a graduate degree in engineering to focus more in-depth on the intersection of material design and additive manufacturing.
